There are few possible ways to use MVPCAST and its live-stream functionalities. Depending on user preference, type of sports being recorded, and devices available you can either choose to use 1 or 2 devices. With some sports such as volleyball it might be easier to use 2 devices (where one serves as a the recording device and the other as the score keeper / tagger) so ultimately it comes down to user preference for which option to choose.
TWO DEVICE OPTION (most popular):
The First Device (iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, Android Tablet) serves as the camera for recording. It is recommended to set up this device on a tripod capturing the entire playing field. Once set up, this device can be left alone. See "Internet Upload Speed" section for more info on choosing a recording device.
The Second Device (iPhone, iPad, Android Phone, Android Tablet) serves as the "scorer / live streaming remote control" device. On this second device you will be able to control all aspects of the recording device (play, pause, reset match, end game, etc... ) Additionally you can change the score of the game AND concurrently create highlight's tags.
ONE DEVICE OPTION:
One Device will have the ability to both record and keep score / tag game highlights. This device will serve all of the same functions as the two device option but just on one device.
Additionally the following equipment can help improve your live-streaming experience:
- Tripod – highly recommended
- Tripod mount for mobile device
- Cage for iPhone, iPad, Samsung/Android
- Video Stabilizer Holder/Handle Bracket Frame
